If you want to know how to pre-load the Destiny 2 beta on all platforms, you’ve come to the right place. This article covers how to download the Destiny 2 beta, but we’ll also go over how to install the Destiny 2 beta just to make sure all the bases are covered. So if you’re as pumped up as we are, read on to find out how to download and install the Destiny 2 beta.
How to Download
The Destiny 2 PC Beta will kick off for the first time on August 28. However, you can pre-load it starting August 25 (see times below). If you pre-ordered a digital copy of the game, all you have to do is select “Install” on the Blizzard Battle.net app and the game will start to pre-load. If you picked up a retail copy, just head over to bungie.net/redeem to enter your code.
If you didn’t pre-order the game and still wish to try it out on PC during the beta, you will have to wait until August 29, 2017. We’ve also got you covered if you’re still wondering when the PC version will release or what the system requirements are. Make sure you’re ready to go before the beta begins so you’re not wasting any time.
Before you can download the Destiny 2 beta on Xbox and PS4, the first thing you need is to get a code. The easiest way to get a code is to simply pre-order the game. However, this doesn’t get you into early access, which starts a few days before the open beta. Once you have a key head over to the Bungie code redemption page where you’ll need to sign in with your PSN or Xbox Live information.
