A new Death Stranding image has been teased by creator Hideo Kojima and it looks about as unpleasant as one might expect on top of a cold, wintery mountain. As someone from the south where it never gets below 40 degrees, this entire image looks like one big nope to me:
It’s mid of summer but here is very cold.👍🌈🦀🐋🐟🐬☔️💀👶✋ pic.twitter.com/6QyAFV83bQ

Captioned “It’s mid of summer but here is very cold,” Kojima-san teased the latest new image to clue fans in on what kind of play experience they can expect when Deat Stranding launches later this year.
In other Death Stranding news, Kojima-san also confirmed earlier this month that his upcoming game will have something “exclusive” and special to show off in Germany next week for Gamescom. New trailer goodness? More gameplay, perhaps? After the previous look which was an extended inside peek at some of the in-game mechanics in addition to a new story trailer, fans interested in what the heck this title is about are anxiously awaiting any possible new news. Tune in because that kicks off on Monday, August 19th!
As for the game itself, Death Stranding finally has its release date. The (maybe) PlayStation 4 exclusive officially arrives on November 8th! You can learn even more about the game, including the awesome new collector’s edition, with our previous coverage here! You can also check out the official synopsis below:
