Guardians of the Galaxy Game From Eidos Montreal Shown Off, Coming This October
The showcase showed off a variety of environments, a deep dive gameplay segment showcasing combat and character choice.
It felt very inspired by other Sci-Fi RPGs like Mass Effect. An all-new take on the Guardians franchise, the game doesn’t resemble the movies or comics but rather feels inspired by them to make a new take.
Here is a description of the game from an official press release.
“Master Star-Lord’s dynamic combat style to obliterate foes with his Element Blasters and call on the unique abilities of each Guardian to defeat a wild variety of interplanetary enemies. Also, as self-proclaimed leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy, players will engage in select player-choice driven dialogue and interactions between Quill and the Guardians that further strengthens the bonds within this dysfunctional family. “
