Just in time for the holidays, Rockstar Games has prepared some new content for its massive-selling Grand Theft Auto 5.
First up is a deathmatch and race creator beta, which will launch this week. This will allow users to set up their own gunfights and street races even better than before, along with jet dogfights.
Job creation will be available for various modes, including Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Race, GTA Race and Rally Race.
Rockstar will keep an eye on these various creations and mark the best of them as “Rockstar Verified Jobs,” which will be available to the entire playing area for all to take part in. It’s likely to launch by week’s end, but could be available sooner.
A new team mode will also be introduced for the game later this month, in the form of Capture. This mode allows up to four teams invading enemy camps in the effort to steal something, including vehicles and pick-ups. More information will be available in the weeks ahead.
Finally, 2014 will be a big year for Grand Theft Auto Online, with the introduction of new online heists and story-based content revolving around the game’s trio of “heroes” – Franklin, Michael and Trevor.
Grand Theft Auto Online is available now, a downloadable supplement for Grand Theft Auto 5 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Be sure to check out our Free Guide for full coverage on the game!
