A beta test for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will be available to those with Splinter Cell: Conviction on the Xbox 360, and it doesn’t rely on a code.
This information is included in a leaflet that comes with the recently released game.
“Once the beta is available, you’ll be able to download it through the news feed on the main menu of Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Conviction, free of charge and with no codes required,” it reads.
Going to the Games Library on the Xbox 360 dashboard once registered is reported to be the method with which you’ll access the beta.
Many have pondered over whether it’ll be necessary to own the game and link an Xbox Live account to it to play the beta, or whether the lack of access code will enable those who borrow it or buy it second-hand to play.
We don’t know when the beta will be available, but are told it’s likely to be this summer.
