We are nearing the end of July, which means a new month ahead for PlayStation Plus members to get access to free games thanks to their subscription. The free PS Plus August 2020 lineup offers two very different gaming experiences, which is a solid deal for gamers when looking to try something new without paying full price. For the month ahead, here is a look at the free PS Plus games for August 2020.

PS Plus August 2020 Lineup

The PS Plus August 2020 lineup kicks off with the highly praised (and adorable) battle royale take with Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout. This game quickly made it to the top spot on Twitch as the most-viewed stream and for good reason. With addictive gameplay, cute characters, and a unique take on battle royale, Fall Guys is a treasure and a treasure we don’t deserve in 2020. 

This game will be available, for free, on August 4th. 

For those looking to kick it up a notch with realism, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered will also be free, which is one of the most beloved entries in the CoD franchise. The remastered version took a game loved by many and made it even better with improved rendering, animations, textures, and so much more. This also brings back popular missions like Cliffhanger and let’s us say hi to our boy Ghost once more.

This game will be available, for free, on July 28th.
