Modern Warfare fans, it’s time to step your game up.
Terminal, one of the more popular maps from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, is about to make a landing on a new platform. The map, which features plenty of shoot-em-up action inside an abandoned airport, will be arriving on Modern Warfare 3 starting July 17th on Xbox 360. The map is exclusively available to Call of Duty Elite subscribers for like a day, and then will release publicly to all players on the 18th. There’s no charge for this map, marking the first time in a while that Infinity Ward has provided free content for its players.
According to Infinity Ward’s Mark Rubin, the map is also on its way to PC and PlayStation 3, though a release date hasn’t been revealed just yet. Given the exclusivity deal with Microsoft and Xbox Live, it’s likely to be sometime in late August.
