Thanks to a report from Pure Xbox, we now know that Forza Motorsport will support three different graphical settings on Xbox Series X consoles. These settings aim to prioritize different performance aspects in the game and are tailored to users who prefer graphical fidelity or performance. We will break down the three performance modes that will be available in Forza Motorsport as such:

  • Performance: Prioritize 60FPS, on-track performance at 4K
  • Performance Ray Tracing: Enable ray tracing at 60FPS with variable resolution
  • Visuals: On-track full 4K with ray tracing, 30FPS

The Xbox Series S version of the game will not feature ray tracing capabilities. Instead, it will be limited to off-track visuals such as the game’s Car Theater and Homespace bits. The Xbox Series S version of Forza Motorsport will feature 1080p resolution at 60FPS on Performance Mode while the Graphics mode will only go up to 1440p at 30FPS. Additionally, it’s been confirmed that the game will also sport high-quality motion blur and Baked Ambient Occlusion.

Forza Motorsport is slated to release October 10, 2023 for Xbox Series X|S and PC, and will be available on Game Pass.
