Fortnite Streamer Ninja Passes 1 Million Subs On Mixer In Under a Week

After less than a week from his public jump from Twitch to Mixer, Ninja has proven that his sub count isn't hurting one bit.

After less than a week from his public jump from Twitch to Mixer, Tyler “Ninja” Blevins has proven that his sub count isn’t hurting one bit. The world-breaking streamer rose to the heights of fame due to his Fortnite presence on Twitch. Since then he has landed book deals, NFL commercial deals, and so much more so when went public that he was abandoning Twitch and moving to the newer Mixer platform, many were confused. Apparently that confusion didn’t halt support, however, because he blasted right through 1 million active subscribers in less than a week.

The streamer and Mixer also partnered up to offer free subscriptions for a limited time, something that usually meant fans needed to pay in order to view Ninja’s content. This promotional move made the streamer more accessible than he’s been in a long time, making the jump from Twitch to Mixer even more effortless.

Twitch is taking it all in stride too, they even added a funny Super Mario redirect to his old channel saying “The Ninja you’re looking for is in another castle.”

While the move was a surprise, it was not the silliest thing he could have done. Ninja has always been very protective of his career, sometimes to a point that received controversy in itself, and with Twitch consistently being in the press for very negative reasons concerning how they approve their TOS, the move to Mixer couldn’t have come at a better time.

With surpassing 1 million active subs in less than a week, it will be very interesting to see where he goes from here with his Mixer journey.
