Winter has finally come to Fortnite, which means there’s plenty of frosty new features to look forward to for Season 7. Epic encourages players to “take to the skies” for Season 7 in their latest blog post, which outlines some of the new features and locations that players can look forward to exploring.

With the arrival of winter comes a massive iceberg, which has mysteriously crashed into the island to create a frosty new environment to explore. Alongside several Expetition outposts, there is also a new location called Frosty Flights, where players can hop into a new Stormwing plane to wreak havoc from above.

Of course, with a new season comes a new Battle Pass, featuring more than 100 new rewards for players to unlock. Players who purchase the Season 7 Battle Pass will be able to unlock the Zenith and Lynx progressive skins, which can be upgraded throughout the season. The Battle Pass also introduces a new cosmetic item called Wraps, which allow players to customize vehicles and weapons with new appearances in-game.

Players who buy the new Battle Pass for Season 7 will also receive early access to Fortnite’s new Creative Mode, which will fully release to the public on December 13. If you enjoyed the Playground LTM, then Fortnite Creative should be right up your alley.

Fortnite Season 7 is also going to last a bit longer than previous seasons, as the development team at Epic plans on being gone for the holiday break. Season 7 will wrap up on February 28, which should give you plenty of time to start ranking up your Battle Pass and unlocking new skins.
