Fortnite Adds Stonks Skin For April Fool’s

Today is April 1, 2021 otherwise known as April Fool’s Day and while a number of game developers and publishers have been having fun making lighthearted jokes, Fortnite has taken things to a whole new level.

In the Fortnite Item Shop right now, you can buy a skin based on the “Stonks” meme named Diamond Hanz. It sounds like a joke, but it’s actually real. You can actually buy this skin for 1,200 V-Bucks.

We’re not joking when we say there’s a “Stonks” skin in Fortnite’s Item Shop today. The name of the Outfit is Diamond Hanz who’s available for purchase for 1,200 V-Bucks. By selecting Diamond Hanz in the Item Shop you’ll be able to see a few other hilarious details.

For example, they come with the “Gains!” Back Bling which mirrors the giant up arrow from the meme, and that the entire set is named “To The Moon!” which… yeah. Makes sense. We have to say, the face of Diamond Hanz is a little creepy, especially seeing it rendered in 3D.

That said, it’s not quite as creepy as the Quackling Outfit that’s also available for purchase today and looks like something out of Five Nights at Freddy’s.

If you’re looking for some new Quests to sink some time into, there’s a new lineup of Spring Breakout Quests that offer opportunities to earn 24,000 XP per Quest completed. Many of these Spring Breakout Quests are easy, like the one that tasks you with catching five fish at Lake Canoe, Camp Cod, or Stealthy Stronghold.

So, whether you choose to purchase Diamond Hanz or not, it’s worth jumping into Fortnite today, April 1, to browse the Item Shop and complete Spring Breakout Quests.
