Final Fantasy XIV and Xbox Team Up for an Epic Limited Edition Console

The one and only Console of Light

Celebrating the upcoming arrival of Final Fantasy XIV on Xbox, you can now have those two closer than ever with the newest limited edition FFXIV-themed Xbox, complete with an Aetheryte-themed console and one of the most amazing custom controllers we’ve seen. Or it would be, as these are not functional and only serve as decoration.

The mock-up console bundle is the big reward for a lucky participant in the newest Xbox/FFXIV Sweepstakes which is taking place on X (formerly Twitter) right now. To enter, all you have to do is follow both your regional official Xbox account and the English FFXIV account and retweet the original post with the #XboxFFXIVSweepstakes to enter the big competition. Good luck, as only one lucky person gets to take it home.

The promotion is only available for US, Mexico, or Canada residents, so if you’re not in any of these countries, sorry, but no cool console for you. The winner will be chosen on March 29, or two weeks from now.

More specific info can be found here. Alongside the unique console and controller, the big winner will also get the Final Fantasy XIV Online Complete Collector’s Edition for Xbox Series X/S, an actual regular, functioning Xbox Series X and a one-year subscription for the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, instantly gifting you access to many other titles to enjoy in your actual console.

After a small Open Beta period, Final Fantasy XIV will be officially released for Xbox platforms on March 21, and players get to keep their current progress if they happen to be testing the game right now. Xbox users share the same servers as all other players, so they’re free to explore Eorzea alongside any other veteran friends from different platforms.

Much like it’s the case in these promotions, there’ll be only one FFXIV Xbox console/controller officially made and it won’t be sold anywhere else. You can still customize yours to look similar, but there’ll be no way to get the real deal from Microsoft themselves. Winning the big prize is your only shot at it, so good luck!
