Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Games Start Rolling Out in July

It might be the weirdest way to do this thing, but it's out soon!

During Square Enix’s E3 presentation, a quick trailer announced the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster line. This set, which for now are individual purchases, takes the first six Final Fantasy games, arranges the music and has a sort of universal pixel style. Various gameplay updates are also included. The first three games are coming on July 29, 2021.

Steam listings for all six games have been launched, with high resolution screenshots and a bundle that knocks 20% off the total price. The earlier games cost a little less than the later ones, and the total price is $95.94 or $74.82 with the Steam bundle discount. Pre-purchasing the bundle also comes with wallpapers and soundtracks for each game.

The latter half of the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series doesn’t have a release date yet, but are currently marked for this year. So far the series will only be available for PC and Mobile as individual purchases. No compilation or console releases have been mentioned.
