Evo 2015 Main Hall Passes Sold Out

If you're looking to watch the Evolution Fighting Game Championships live, you may have to change your plans!
This article is over 9 years old and may contain outdated information

The 2015 Evolution Fighting Game Championships (Evo) has officially sold out of Sunday main room badges. What does that mean to you? Well, if you were planning to watch the finals for most of the big games featured at the event, you won’t be able to sit in the main hall to see everything live. To help accommodate fans still hoping to see all of the Sunday finals action go down, a second ballroom has been setup that will offer direct-feed footage of everything going on in the main hall, without any noticeable latency.

Last year, Evo took place at the Westgate hotel in a ballroom roughly twice the size as the main ballroom this year. For 2015 Evo returns to Paris/Bally’s hotel and casino, but the change in venue has made it more difficult to get a Sunday pass for the main hall. With half the space to work with, passes sold out in record time.

General competitor registration remains available for anyone interested in participating in the biggest fighting game tournament in the world. This year the lineup includes: Ultra Street Fighter 4, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Super Smash Bros. Wii U, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Guilty Gear Xrd, Killer Instinct, Mortal Kombat X, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax and Tekken 7 (arcade).
