A new event is taking place in Fortnite this coming August called the Rift Tour. Announced recently by Epic Games, the Rift Tour is described as, “A musical journey into magical new realities where Fortnite and a record-breaking superstar collide.”
The name of this superstar has yet to be revealed, and the post from Epic Games notes there’s more information to come on August 2. In the meantime, you can start completing Rift Tour Quests right now!
Epic Games Announce Fortnite Rift Tour
Fortnite is hosting a special event called the Rift Tour featuring Rift Tour Quests and a record-breaking superstar, whose name has yet to be revealed. You can start completing Rift Tour Quests right now, with the Quests available from July 29 until August 8.
Rewards you can earn by completing Rift Tour Quests include the Cosmic Cuddles Loading Screen (art by Delicious Design League), Rift-sterpiece Spray, and Cloudy Kitty Emoticon. Elaborating on the core experience of the Rift Tour itself, Epic Games explained:
“Because the Rift Tour experience spans five showtimes over three days, we’ve added the Rift Tour tab to the game menu. The Rift Tour tab allows you and your friends to schedule the showtimes you plan to attend, as well as keep up-to-speed on the latest Rift Tour Quests.”
The end of the post confirms that “more big news” about the Rift Tour will be shared on August 2. With that in mind, we’ll be sure to update you on who this mystery record-breaking superstar is, and whether addition Rift Tour Quests are added on August 2.
