Side-scrolling spin-off Epic Mickey 2: Power of Illusion has been given a November 18th release date, the same day as full sequel Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two.

The 3DS title is a homage and spiritual successor to the Mega Drive classic The Castle of Illusion (what a game). It’s being developed by Dreamrift, the studio responsible for popular 3DS title Henry Hatsworth.
The news was revealed during Nintendo’s late-night 3DS conference, which detailed an array of both first and third-party titles.
