Larian Studios is finally allowing players to change their appearance in Baldur’s Gate 3 with an upcoming patch. This has been a feature that fans have been asking for since the game launched earlier this month because, currently, there’s no way to change how you look after you’ve made your character.
The news comes from a community update page where Larian Studios stated that it’s “working on the ability to change your characters’ look once you’ve started a campaign.” But as of right now, there’s no release date on when players will be able to change how they look. In addition, a new feature called the Withers’ Wardrobe of Wayward Friends is expected “to launch very soon.” This will allow players to kick out people who join their campaign so they can continue to enjoy playing by themselves.
Besides new features being added soon, Patch 2 looks to fix many quality-of-life issues, such as performance fixes being added to Act 3. The update will bring “major performance improvements to the entire game, but more specifically to Act 3.” This will also include bug fixes that players have been experiencing in Act 3.
The upcoming patch also aims to address user experience issues that are being referred to as cut content. Some players are running into an issue where specific characters aren’t reacting to world events. And lastly, more content will be added to the epilogue.
