Digimon Survive Teaser Trailer Showcases Main Cast

While the trailer itself doesn’t have a ton of new information or gameplay to show, it’s a sign that the game, is in fact, still alive. Digimon Survive was first announced back in 2018, and then subsequently delayed. We haven’t heard much about the title at all since, so this new trailer is a sign of hope, a heartbeat.

Digimon Survive blends visual novel storytelling with tactical grid-based combat using each character’s partner Digimon.

The game follows the main character Takuma Momozuka and his Digimon Agumon as they explore the world, make choices, and see what life has in store for them and the rest of the cast.

Here’s the official game description from the Bandai Namco website.

“Digimon Survive is a tactical RPG with a focus on storytelling and turn-based battles. Takuma Momozuka goes on a school camping trip only to find himself transported to a mysterious world full of monsters and danger. Join Takuma and Agumon as you craft your story and fight your way back home in Digimon Survive.”

Digimon Survive still has no official release date but is releasing on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
