The world of Sanctuary will be the focus of Diablo 4 this time, with a “medieval and Gothic” version of Hell there to tempt the players and to lay them awry. You’ll also be able to group with players in the overworld, group with them, and to also kill each other in PVP zones. Talk about a change of pace! Check out the cinematic that the lucky audience at Blizzcon 2019 got to enjoy below.

Combat is also going to enjoy an overhaul in line with this. The team behind the Diablo franchise has taken inspiration from all the previous titles when designing a new, fluid approach to slaughtering the armies of Hell in the series’ latest installments. It’s been confirmed that this is going to be an isometric action RPG being developed for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. There was also a gameplay trailer as part of the overall Diablo 4 cinematic reveal at Blizzcon 2019, and fans got the chance to look at combat featuring the Barbarian, the Druid, and the Sorcerer.
