New Death Stranding Trailer Reveals November Release Date, First Look At Gameplay

by Liana Ruppert

Death Stranding has been an enigma in the gaming community ever since Hideo Kojima first teased his breakout studio’s debut title a few years prior. With every trailer, teaser, and interview, fans grew even more confused about what the heck Kojima-san’s new game will have to offer. Though we still have thousand questions, at least we have a few answers now that PlayStation and Kojima Productions has graced us with a brand new video and details about the upcoming adventure.

Fans first met Sam Bridges back in 2016, though we didn’t know who he was or what his purpose was. What we did know is that there seemed to be a giant Norman Reedus naked with a baby and people had questions. Now we’ve got an even closer look at what the story has to offer and a set release date to look forward to: November 8th.

This is also the first time we’ve seen some gameplay, both with the stealth mechanics and the traveral climbing.

For more about the game ahead of its upcoming PlayStation 4 launch:

“Sam Bridges must brave a world utterly transformed by the Death Stranding. Carrying the stranded remnants of the future in his hands, Sam embarks on a journey to reunite the shattered world one step at a time. What is the mystery of the Death Stranding? What will Sam discover on the road ahead? A genre-defining gameplay experience holds these answers and more.”
