Dead or Alive 6 Deluxe Demo Announced

A new demo is coming to Xbox Live and PlayStation Network so you can play DOA6 a little early!

At EVO Japan 2019, Team Ninja announced a brand new “Deluxe Demo” for Dead or Alive 6. The demo will be exclusively available for PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold members in North America, and will run from February 22 until February 24.

The Deluxe Demo will reportedly offer a wealth of content to sample including a full 24-character roster and customization options for each fighter. Additionally, you’ll be able to put your skills to the test in a variety of different modes including a basic Tutorial, Free Training, Command Training, Combo Challenge, and both Lobby and Online ranked matches.

Other Dead or Alive 6 news out of EVO Japan 2019 included new details regarding the game’s Season Pass 1. According to publisher Koei Tecmo: 

“Dead or Alive 6’s initial Season Pass will be available for purchase on March 1 and will also include 62 new costumes: ‘Dead or Alive 6 Happy Wedding Costumes Vol.1’ and ‘2,’ ‘Dead or Alive 6 New Costumes Set Vol.1’ and ‘2,’ and additional character costumes for the two SNK fighters. Season Pass bonuses will also feature new NiCO and Nyotengu costumes. All Season Pass 1 content will be made available between March and June 2019.” 

Finally, Team Ninja addressed the upcoming Dead or Alive World Championship. For those interested in spectating or participating in the event, it was noted that: “Qualifiers will be held in North America, Europe, and Asia, with each region’s top players competing at the Grand Finals in Japan.” Total prize money for the Dead or Alive World Championship is valued at 10 million Yen (JPY).
