Crimson Desert Patch 1.16.00 Makes Trading More Profitable Than Ever

The new Patch 1.16.00 includes a number of improvements, bug fixes, and performance enhancements, but its primary focus is clearly on trading and profitability. Here are some of the biggest highlights:

A total of 133 new trading posts have been added across the map, including the merchant at the Pailune Trading Post. Additionally, seven new wagon workshops have been introduced across Pywel to serve as intermediate trading posts. A new Trade tab has also been added to the world map, while trade routes now appear on the minimap when you’re driving a wagon. Players can also view market prices, filter trading posts, see average purchase prices, and track trade good quantities on horses and wagons.

Pearl Abyss has also introduced 28 new trade goods, including 24 high-value items and four regular items. Royal Trading Posts now pay four times more for trade goods, making trading far more profitable, especially along longer, harder-to-reach routes. To keep the economy balanced, however, trade prices now fluctuate if too many of the same goods are sold at a single location.

You can now sell individual trade goods, transfer them between horses and wagons, and stack packaged goods up to 10 or 100 per slot, depending on their value. Unpackaged trade goods can also be stacked up to five or 50 per slot.

The update also expands the banking system with the new Claim Bank Strongbox feature. Bonds can now be exchanged for 10 Gold Bars, a new Bond Shop offers rare items in exchange for bonds, and bank interest gains and losses are now capped at 40 Gold Bars.

Additional Improvements

Outside of trading and banking, Patch 1.16.00 also delivers a lengthy list of bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements. Pearl Abyss has resolved numerous quest progression issues, fixed combat and control bugs, improved combo transitions for several weapons, and addressed a variety of animation, interaction, and stability issues. PC players also benefit from AMD FSR SDK 2.3.0, FSR Upscaling 4.1 support for Radeon RX 7000 Series GPUs, updated Ray Regeneration, and reduced screen flickering.
