Photo Mode Is Coming to Control Resonant in November

Photo Mode in a Remedy game feels like an absolute must. The studio’s art direction, graphical fidelity, and scene composition are basically untouchable. We all assumed Control Resonant would launch with a Photo Mode, but sadly, that wasn’t the case. Thankfully, Remedy has confirmed in its official blog post that the highly requested feature is indeed coming to Control Resonant sometime in November.

Remedy acknowledged the strong interest in Photo Mode and said it has been working on this iteration of the feature for a while, but wanted to make sure the game launched in the best possible state first. The studio has also consulted with virtual photographers from the community to help make it the best version it can be.

New Game++ Arrives in October

In addition to Photo Mode, Remedy confirmed that New Game++ is also coming to Control Resonant in October. The current New Game+ mode only lets you beat the game one more time, but New Game++ will remove that limitation, allowing you to start another NG+ run without having to erase your existing progress.

In other words, you can keep starting new runs as many times as you want, carrying your progress forward each time.

More Cosmetics Are Coming

Remedy also teased more cosmetic items for Dylan in future updates. The studio didn’t provide a release date or details yet, but confirmed that additional outfits are planned.

Finally, Remedy says it has been following player feedback since launch and is already working on several changes and additions for upcoming patches. The hotfix, which reduces enemy tankiness in the early hours, is a direct result of that feedback.

You can read the full blog post here. I’m really looking forward to Photo Mode being added and can’t wait to see what kind of ridiculous cosmetics Remedy is cooking up.
