Chromium and Diecast Outfits Now Available in Fortnite Item Shop

Fortnite’s item shop has just updated with a fresh set of items and gear for Fortnite Battle Royale, including a new pickaxe and outfit. Today’s update lets players channel their inner android with the brand new Chromium and Diecast Outfits, two new skins that allow players to rock an all-metal exterior on their character. Along with the new metallic outfits are several other new items, including the new Pursuader Pickaxe and Solid Strider Glider.

Here’s how the prices break down for each of the items in the item shop for May 10, 2018:

• Chromium Outfit – 1,200 V-Bucks
• Diecast Outfit – 1,200 V-Bucks
• Survival Specialist Outfit – 1,200 V-Bucks
• Hyperion Outfit – 1,200 V-Bucks
• Persuader Pickaxe – 800 V-Bucks
• Stage Dive Glider – 800 V-Bucks
• Rocket Rodeo Emote – 800 V-Bucks
• Solid Strider Glider – 500 V-Bucks
• Ice Breaker Harvesting Tool – 500 V-Bucks
• Hootenanny Emote – 500 V-Bucks

As with every item shop update in Fortnite, these special items will only be available in the shop for a limited time and will be gone once the shop refreshes Friday evening. If the idea of transforming into a metallic fighter strikes your fancy, or if you simply want a fresh look for your character and have some extra V-Bucks to spare, now is the time to pick up the Chromium and Diecast skins while you can.
