Capcom Considers Monster Hunter: Rise and Resident Evil 3 Remake “Hits”

The biggest takeaways are that Capcom sees Monster Hunter Rise: and Resident Evil 3 Remake as successful.

In the document, which you view for yourself here, it states “New titles Resident Evil 3 and Monster Hunter Rise were hits”. It doesn’t get more concrete than that when ti comes to how a company views its products.

More specifically this document states that Monster Hunter Rise sold 4.8 million copies as of March 31, 2021. The franchise has sold 72 million across the board and has had 13 cumulative million-seller titles.

As for Resident Evil 3, the remake sold 3.9 million copies as of March 31, 2021. This is great for both of these titles and are not the only success stories for Capcom

Other games like Resident Evil Village also sold incredibly well, and it seems Capcom is projecting strong numbers out of the company.

We got a little more information on Capcom’s upcoming action-adventure game Pragmata. The game is still slated for 2023.

“Newly hired young employees are given the chance to acquire know-how and skills through hands-on experience in the field as they are assigned to the development of popular IPs and major titles. Pragmata is just one such endeavor for your young employees.”

Pragmata is being used to train new talent and give this new IP a “new appeal”.
