December 3rd will be a good day if you opted to play Battlefield 4 on the PC or PS4. Both platforms will receive game updates aimed at fixing several of the pesky bugs players have been plagued with since launch. Straight from the Battlefield 4 Control Room, have a look at the list of tweaks below.
PC
- Removes EMP blur effect caused by the opposing Commander deploying an EMP UAV.
- Fixed the one-shot kill bug, where damage from single bullets was being multiplied several times.
- Fixed the audio issues prevalent on Golmud Railway and Lancang Dam.
PS4
- Fixed the one-shot kill bug, where damage from single bullets was being multiplied several times.
- Fixed a crash that could occur when having a very large amount of friends.
- Enabled audio in PS4 video captures.
DICE notes that players should keep in mind that as the game update rolls out, disconnections from servers can occur. They advise waiting several minutes and trying to log back on. The only time they provided for the update was related to the PS4, which was “in the afternoon EU time…” Players on the PS3, Xbox 360 and Xbox One can expect a game update by the end of this week at the earliest. So far there is no word on the details of that patch.
