While patches have already come to Elden Ring a couple times, it’s no mystery that FromSoftware’s largest-scale game yet pushes gaming platforms pretty hard. So while fixes can only come so quickly, Bandai Namco has dropped some acknowledgement on its official channels.

On the company’s official website, a post titled “A message about some performance issues in Elden Ring” was published. The publisher thanks players for feedback so far, and lists some high level bullet points for further plans to sand down Elden Ring’s issues. Some suggestions for players to double check or try were also noted. These are the following points:
- Mouse sensitivity for PC version to be addressed in a patch
- Easy Anti-Cheat failing with multi-byte character Steam names to be addressed in patch
- Frame rate and performance issues for all platforms will be “constantly” adjusted as time passes. The post also suggests making sure your drivers are updated
- Save data not properly saving for the PS5 version is also being addressed in a patch. But in the meantime Bandai Namco recommends manually quitting Elden Ring instead of using rest mode to ensure the data saves properly.
The post ends with a note that other, smaller items are being worked on, along with a link to Bandai Namco support for any players who wish to report issues they encounter.
