After spending months in beta, Signal Studios finally released its free-to-play game Hand of Kul on Xbox Live.
In this innovative new title, you pledge your loyalty to one of the Three Gods – the chaotic goddess of darkness, the zealous god of light or the manipulative god of the void – and set out to pillage the land and enemies on their behalf. Featuring single player missions and online multiplayer action that blend seamlessly, the game brings action and role-playing thrills aplenty.
“Ascend is a truly unique Xbox 360 experience,” said D.R. Albright III, President and Creative Director of Signal Studios. “We’ve been working closely with Microsoft to break down the traditional console barriers that most games on the platform face and it has really paid off. There is virtually nothing we can’t change in Ascend live with the push of a button. During the closed beta we’ve been fixing bugs, balancing the game, editing levels and adding events on a daily basis almost instantaneously as we get player feedback on our forums.”
