A new trailer is here to share not only the Apex Legends season 6 release date, but also our first look at the newest character, Rampart, making their way onto the roster. Rampart looks awesome, the entire trailer does, so here’s our first look at what Apex Legends season 6 will have to offer players.
Apex Legends season 6 release date, new character first look
Apex Legends season 6 kicks off on August 18th and comes bringing with it Rampart, a heavy weapons expert that looks like she’s ready to cause utter mayhem. She looks dope but everyone can look dope when the new season arrives because Respawn is adding crafting. Players will be able to use materials to make their own gear, though specifics on how this will work are still up in the air.
Respawn also continues on their promise of diversity in an organic way with Rampart; an Indian badass that is ready to take the crown. From the video above, we also see that she has a companion called Shiela which looks very … uh, dangerous.

New cosmetics, new weapons, and tons more are also on the way when Apex Legends season 6 kicks off on August 18th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Still no word yet on a Nintendo Switch launch like Nintendo Switch, but we’re keepin’ hope alive.
