The Summer update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons will come in two waves with the first arriving on July 3rd. The second wave will hit in early August, though a specific date for that has not been set. Still, the small clip showing off selfies in the waves with other fish, new villagers, and more has us majorly amped for the road ahead. Check it out:

From donning a new sleek diving suit to finding new creatures and recipes in the deep blue sea, New Horizons is finally giving us the chance to swim in that gorgeous ocean water we’ve settled near. There will be new villagers and characters to interact with as well. Could we finally be getting the long-leaked Brewster return?!

The new update looks pretty incredible. As someone that fell off of the hype train back in May, I’m personally excited to dive back in and see what chaos of hell I’ve left my island in. Anything to go swimming, especially since where I’m at we are back in quarantine.

As for the game itself, Animal Crossing New Horizons is available now exclusively on the Nintendo Switch. Need some help?
