Minecraft for Xbox is set to receive an update and a DLC package containing 40 new character skins.

The new range comes in a pack entitled The Skin Pack, which features both original designs and characters from other games. The news came via Play XBLA, an official Microsoft site.
Update 1.7.3 also gives players the choice of eight Steve skins while a trial version of The Skin Pack DLC will also be available for players to try before they buy.
Minecraft broke the record for fastest selling XBLA of all time, with more than a million purchases in its first week.
