Do You Need to Buy Party Members in Granblue Fantasy: Relink?

Thankfully, there are no Gacha Elements present in Granblue Fantasy: Relink. Any character you can have on your team is recruitable directly in the game without spending any money to get them. However, if you’re hoping to give your crew a new look, you may need to spend a little money to make that happen.

While no items affect the overall gameplay beyond a few overpowered swords at the start of the game, you can purchase a few different cosmetics packs from the PlayStation Network or Steam that you can add to your game. However, these items are included if you’ve already purchased the Deluxe Edition of the game. There isn’t anything major here, but mega-fans may love the opportunity to change the default styles to something more colorful.

On the PlayStation Store, there are a variety of Color Packs available to purchase for around $7.99 a piece and an upgrade pack for $29.99 that will give players the chance to unlock a powerful weapon and some upgrade items. Beyond this, however, no other microtransactions are available in the game, so you won’t need to worry about your favorite character being locked behind a paywall.

No matter if you’re a fan of turn-based RPGs or prefer Action RPGS, the Granblue series has plenty of lovely characters that are available to unlock, and the fact that we don’t need to worry about rolling our preferred fighter here is a weight off of our shoulders. Now, set out on an adventure and start making the perfect team.
