How Long is Granblue Fantasy: Relink? – How Long To Beat

How long does this one take to beat?

After breaking out of the fighting game genre, the Granblue team is hoping to take on the world of RPGs. Is this the type of RPG that you’ll need to sink a tremendous amount of hours into, or is it one you can beat over a weekend?

As per our review of Granblue Fantasy Relink, it seems that this is the type of RPG you can beat over a weekend, as the overall story time seems to run around 20 hours. Thankfully, there is a fair bit of side content and post-game that you can occupy yourself with, so completionists are looking at around 40 to 50 hours before their time in this beautiful anime world ends.

While the main storyline feels more linear than its post-game content, you’ll still have plenty to explore throughout this world, and it seems that it’s after the main story comes to a close that the game really starts cooking. There are powerful weapons you can gain for your team, substories you can complete, and plenty of grinds you can lose yourself in to keep yourself locked in Granblue’s grasp for many hours after the story winds down.

Plus, for players looking for a challenge, you can jump into the New Game + option, alongside plenty of new difficulty options to ensure that the game can withstand you and your new powers. While it’s not your typical type of NG+, since you can replay quests and missions, the post-game is also considered New Game +.

So, even if you power through the main story, you can jump in once again with a fully boosted team and make quick work of everyone and anything that you encounter. Some post-game weapons are the best I’ve ever seen, with one in particular making me rather hungry.
