Will Blight: Survival be on PS5? All platforms, explained

Is Blight: Survival coming to PlayStation, Xbox, or Switch? Find out in this article.

If you’re a lover of zombie games and medieval fantasy, Blight: Survival is one you need to have your eye on. However, it’ll do you no good if you can’t play it when it comes out, so what platforms will Blight: Survival be on?

Is Blight: Survival available on Steam and Epic Games Store?

Currently, Blight: Survival is wishlistable on Steam, so it will be playable there once released. As far as release dates go, all we have so far is “to be announced.” I recommend wishlisting the game to stay up to date and you can follow the Blight: Survival Twitter (or X) to see the latest news on release dates, platforms, and progress.

Though it’s currently not on Epic Games Store, Blight: Survival has been given an Epic MegaGrant which is money from Epic Games awarded to games that are creative, noteworthy, innovative, and built-in Unreal Engine. Because of Epic Games’ support, I bet Blight: Survival will be available there once the game gets closer to launch.

Is Blight: Survival available on PlayStation 5?

There are no plans for Blight: Survival to come to PS5. The game is still in the early stages of development, but I imagine Blight: Survival will only launch on PC at first. If it is successful and popular enough, Sony may reach out and strike a deal that would allow PS5 players to play Blight: Survival, but that’s a big maybe as of right now.

Is Blight: Survival available on Xbox or Game Pass?

Xbox is in the same situation. Blight: Survival won’t launch onto Xbox or Game Pass at first, but it could come to the platform and service down the line. I think Blight: Survival looks like a great Game Pass game, but if they are successful enough, they might not even need Game Pass.

Is Blight: Survival available on Switch?

Based on hardware requirements alone, I doubt Blight: Survival will ever come to Nintendo Switch. Tonally, Blight: Survival isn’t the type of game Nintendo goes for, but also, it’s a visually and mechanically complex game that most likely wouldn’t run great on the Switch anyway.

I’m excited for Blight: Survival as it looks to combine many of my favorite video game trends at the moment: co-op, extraction-lite, and medieval zombies. If nothing else, I pray that Blight: Survival will be better than the other failed zombie game, The Day Before.
