Grime: Secrets guide — Missable bosses, items, and upgrades
Delve further into Grime's world in search of secrets, as well as missable bosses and items.
Lithic: The Rockgiants and Lithic armor vendor
There are a couple of missable secrets in the Lithic zone of Grime, and they have separate triggers.
The first one is the Lithic armor vendor (found to the left of the Lithic – Lower save point). The NPC gives you Hyaline armor pieces in exchange for the Lithic Portrait, Lithic Effigy, and Lithic Poem.
Note: Be forewarned that you need to bring these items to the vendor before killing the Whispering Mothers boss. Otherwise, the NPC will despawn.
The two Rockgiants (the Harmless Rockgiant and Grieving Rockgiant) are also considered missable bosses. Most players will probably end up attacking and killing the Harmless Rockgiant (+Breath Capacity) early on.
As for the Grieving Rockgiant (+Breath Capacity), it’ll show up only after speaking to the Immobile Rockgiant and killing the Whispering Mothers. But, it’ll also despawn later in the game. Try to defeat it before opening the Carven Palace barrier.
Note: In case the Grieving Rockgiant isn’t in its spot, try to save your game and reload.
