Blast Off in Fortnite’s New Fly Explosives Limited Time Mode

Celebrate the return of Guided Missiles in the new Fly Explosives LTM in Fortnite.

To commemorate the return of Guided Missiles to Fortnite, Epic Games has launched a new limited time mode called Fly Explosives, which is available now for Fortnite Battle Royale. The Fly Explosives LTM and newly reworked Guided Missiles arrive as part of today’s v5.10 Content Update for Fortnite.

Fly Explosives LTM

The new Fly Explosives LTM takes the explosive theme of the High Explosives LTM and adds in Jetpacks, which have been temporarily released from the vault for this new limited time mode. The Fly Explosives LTM only contains explosive weapons, such as Rocket Launchers, Grenades, and of course, Guided Missiles.

Jetpacks in this mode have increased fuel regeneration and decreased burn rate in comparison to their default versions to allow players to hover in the sky longer. Player stats are tracked in the Fly Explosives LTM, so keep that in mind when you queue up for the new mode.

Playground LTM Update

The Playground LTM has received some attention as well in today’s content update, with the vaulted Jetpack and Guided Missiles both being re-enabled for the Playground. Chug Jug and Shield potion spawn rates have been lowered, and bandages have been removed to increase the chance of spawning healing items in the map.

Guided Missile Rework

As was mentioned in a recent in-game announcement, Guided Missiles have returned to Fortnite with a few adjustments to reflect community feedback. Guided Missiles now have reduced damage, movement speed, and fuse duration to make them less damage-focused than they were before. Spyglass Sniper Rifle

If you’re a fan of sniping in Save the World, this update has something for you as well. The new Spyglass Sniper Rifle will be added to the weekly store on August 1, offering a high-powered option for players who want to snipe husks from a distance in Fortnite’s Save the World mode.
