To get early entry to the Gears of War 3 beta, you’ll need to buy the Epic Edition of the game, but as well as having the code included you’ll also need the game disk.

“You need the disc”, GOW director Rod Fergusson said. “The Epic Edition code only adds a button on the Bulletstorm main menu.”
If you have the disc and code you’ll get early access to the Gears of War 3 multiplayer beta. Little information on the release is known yet, but it does sound like there’ll also be exclusive content.
There’s to be more information on the beta “later this week”.
Bulletstorm is coming this week on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. Gears of War 3, an Xbox 360 exclusive, arrives this fall.
