Here are all of the Cyberpunk 2077 gangs confirmed so far so you can know exactly what you’re getting into when you dive into the underbelly of Night City. We were first introduced to the Valentinos back in April but since then, CD Projekt RED has teased a few more gangs that players can expect to run into. Here’s a rundown of what we know so far.

Confirmed Cyberpunk 2077 Gangs So Far

The first gang we were introduced to were the Valentinos, a gang in a predominately Latino area of Heywood that is founded on loyalty, tradition, and a strict moral code. If you’re in, you’re in, but if you’re against them? You’re in for a fatal ride. You can learn more about this game with our full coverage earlier last month here.

The Tyger Claws

Where the Valentinos were primarily Latino, the Tyger Claws are Japanese in origin with a very stylistic approach to Night City relations with their headquarters centrally located in Japantown. They are known for being ruthless and intimidating and you won’t want to catch those hands if they’ve got a katana in them.

Militech

Less traditional in the gang sense, Militech quickly made a name for itself as one of the largest weapon manufacturers in Night City. They supply top-tier weapons and vehicles to the military and the police while also offering top-notch training to those that utilize this opportunity in the world of Cyberpunk 2077.

The Valentinos

The Valentinos, as mentioned, are a Latino-focused gang that prides itself on its traditional values and deadly loyalty. While players can’t join gangs themselves, CD Projekt RED did confirm that there is a world to explore within each gang and its initiates. While these gangs will have their origins and influences, you don’t have to be Latino to join the Valentinos, nor do you have to be Japanese to join the Tyger Claws.

Other gangs that CD Projekt RED hasn’t delved too much into yet, though have been confirmed include:

The Voodoo Boys

A Haitian-centric gang that arrive din Night City following the great Haiti flood

The Animals

This gang thrives on pain and showing who the alpha in the room is. They are also the group that’s likely to ask how much you lift, bruh

Wraiths

This gang can be ID’s by their blue circle emblem that is filled with skulls with their names on them

Steel Dragons

Another Japanese gang that is very opposed to corporate corruption

6th Street

This gang’s sole purpose is to protect the community of Vista del Rey and they are widely considered to be self-serving and self-righteous with their imposed sense of justice

Scavengers

This was the first gang revealed when Cyberpunk 2077 first shared the announcement trailer. They have an affinity for kidnapping people and selling their body parts on the black market

Maelstrom

Where the Animals like pain, Maelstrom is known for their pain suppressors and reflex boosters, heavily relying on implants to make them “whole”

Mox

After Elizabeth “Lizzie” Borden died, a strip club owner and former prostitute known for her work ethic and fair treatment of her workers, her colleagues formed together the Mox gang to protect working girls from violence and abuse

Lizzies

This gang formed over their obsession of the singer Lizzy Wizzy. They are obsessed and will cut a B if they dare to talk smack about Lizzy

It will be interesting to see how all of these gangs intersect with one another. Night City is teeming with crime and a hunger for power. Players will transform into the main character V as they work their way from the bottom of the underbelly to be the creme de la creme of power within the political climate of Night City.

As for the game’s landscape, the studio has often talked about Night City and how massive it is. Every building can be explored and every NPC can be heard. Oh, and the romance options? A-plenty and definitely not safe for work. There is going to be so much to witness when Cyberpunk 2077 debuts later this year and we’re excited to go all-in when the adventure begins!

We will be able to meet the various gangs in the game when  Cyberpunk 2077 launches on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on September 17, 2020 pending no further delays due to COVID-19.
