5 Assassin’s Creed Locations We’d Like to See Next, Cyberpunk Fantasy

Look, we know Cyberpunk 2077 is going to fill this void because that sci-fi RPG from CD Projekt RED is going to be massive, but with the RPG elements now infusing into the Assassin’s Creed-verse like never before, I’d love to see a futuristic take on this particular franchise.

Now keep in mind, I’m not saying an exact replica of Cyberpunk 2077, that would be silly, but something along those lines where the Assassin’s is an underground thug (OK, I’m seeing the similarities) and discovers his connection to this ancient brotherhood. Following what happened to Desmond, F, it would be interesting to see the revival of the Brotherhood and maybe an evolved threat beyond the Templars and their organization.

Plus, could you imagine maybe seeing a crime lord come into the Brotherhood and see how their life, and their philosophies, change with their new directive? There is unlimited story potential there and everybody loves a good redemption story. Similar to how Assassin’s Creed Black Flag handled Edward’s metamorphosis from selfish pirate to established Assassin, we could see something along the same veins just now with flying cards and cool neon lighting.

I can dream, Harold.

What do you think about a sci-fi futuristic Assassin’s Creed game? Too gimmicky? Crazy enough to work? Sound off with your thoughts and vision for a cyberpunk-fueled Assassin’s Creed game over on Twitter @PrimaGames! And stay tuned, because there are four more additions we have while our noggins go into overdrive.
