Dreams Review Round-Up

PlayStation Universe – 100 out of 100

It’s really hard to find anything negative about Dreams. It’s a powerful and remarkable set of creation tools moonlighting as a video game. If creating isn’t your thing, the Dreamiverse offers an endless feed of other dreamer’s playable content and the super-fun campaign. Dreams is the bees knees and should not be missed.

IGN – 90 out of 100

It’s a cliche, but Dreams really is something that needs to be played to fully grasp an understanding of. It’s unlike anything else: an ambitious project that has been expertly brought to life by Media Molecule, and an audacious experiment in game design that gives you endless ways to enjoy your time with it.

ScreenRant – 4.5 out of 5

That potential is what makes Dreams so exciting. The introduction of Community Jams that challenge players to create something on a specific theme each week adds a level of friendly competition to the user base. This will hopefully push creators to the limit, as well as provide plenty of inspiration for other creators.

Dreams is undoubtedly a platform that will take time to find its feet. Already the signs are there, and the future looks bright that Media Molecule has given the PS4 yet another top-tier exclusive. More than that, Dreams is that rare video game product that could help shape where the medium goes next.

God is a Geek – 100 out of 100

Dreams is a revolutionary video game, allowing you to create whatever you want and have fun doing it. The amount of tools and their menus are dense, and there will be times when you feel completely lost, however, if you have the willingness and time to learn, Dreams is a rewarding experience. The community at the heart of Dreams is both welcoming and helpful, and I hadn’t seen a single negative comment. Dreams is such a special game, and I implore everyone to jump into the Dreamiverse.

From games to gadgets, music to movies, puzzles to paintings and literally anything in-between … this is a beautiful playground of creativity where everything is possible.”Players can create, explore, and have an incredible sense of community all in one!
