Ni No Kuni 2 is finally here as people are starting to get their hands on the new RPG from Level 5 and Bandai Namco. A lot has changed from the first title and our Ni No Kuni 2 guide will help new players and anyone looking to figure out what’s changed. Ni No Kuni 2 Quick Tips

  • You can swap characters by pressing up or down on the d-pad during combat.
  • Some red chests cannot be accessed early in the game, but you’ll be able to reach them as you progress.
  • Blue chests are locked and cannot be opened until later in the game.
  • Loot on the world map will respawn after a battle, making it easy to stock up on items.
  • Ranged attacks and character skills can be charged by holding down the button, but also consume MP.
  • Focus on using Higgledies that will heal your party so you don’t have to use items as much.
  • You can’t start building your kingdom until after you’ve completed chapter 4.
  • Complete all side quests you come across because most of them will result in more citizens coming to your kingdom.
  • To rack up lots of Kingsguilders, leave your PS4 running and check on it hourly to empty the coffer.
