The second week of Season 5 challenges is upon us in Fortnite. Since we had a treasure map challenge last week, it makes sense for this week to have a new triangulation challenge instead. One of the challenges for Week 2 tasks players to search between an Oasis, Rock Archway, and Dinosaurs in Fortnite. We’ll explain where to go to complete this challenge and earn yourself some quick Battle Stars.
Search Between an Oasis, Rock Archway, and Dinosaurs
To complete this challenge, players will have to head over to the new desert biome that replaced Moisty Mire at the start of the season. Once you’re at the desert, make your way toward the southwest side of Paradise Palms, the new named location in the desert biome.
The Oasis is the large body of water with the river flowing out of it on the west edge of the desert. The Rock Archway is just east of the Oasis. If you’re familiar with some of the new locations and map changes that arrived with Season 5, then you’ll likely know that there are some large dinosaur statues standing along the road to the southeast.
Triangulating a point between the Oasis, Rock Archway, and Dinosaurs leads to a tall plateau in the middle of the three landmarks. Search near the cacti on the lower ledge of the plateau to find the hidden Battle Star. We’ve marked the location on the map above for your convenience.
Collect the Battle Star and complete the match by either winning or being eliminated to successfully complete this Week 2 challenge. Completing weekly challenges, such as scoring baskets on different hoops, is a great way to earn XP and level up fast in Fortnite, so make sure to finish off some of the other Season 5 challenges as well to make progress toward the Drift and Ragnarok skin unlocks.
