Hitman: Absolution is looking like the best adventure of Agent 47 to date. Not only can you be all assassin-like and dispatch of people in a number of creative ways, but you can decide how you want to play the game, whether you want to be all sneaky-like or go into a room guns blazing, killing everyone you can. According to the game’s developer IO Interactive, something even bigger is on the horizon.
Through their Twitter account, the developer has revealed a “major announcement” that is set to take place later this week on May 10th. The announcement wasn’t hinted at beyond that though they did state that fans “do not want to miss this one.”
We have a few guesses pertaining to what the announcement could be. There could be a competitive multiplayer mode where Agent 47 and various players compete for the same target; new locations that will challenge the mastermind hitman to do his best; and maybe even some downloadable skins from other Square Enix games. Again, though, these are just guesses. The “major reveal” could even eclipse all these, if it lives up to its “major” name.
