The Lunar New Year event has begun in Pokemon GO, and unlike the last event, we have some Time Research that even has a branching quest this time around. Along with all the themed wild spawns, this is the perfect time to stock up on Pokemon like Darumaka and Fennekin.
Of course, the Timed Research is filled with rewards as well. Most of the challenges are fairly easy to tackle and there are only two full steps that each Trainer needs to complete to get every reward. With only four days to get this done, there is no time to waste in getting the Lucky Wishes challenges done in Pokemon GO.
Pokemon GO – All Timed Research Lucky Wishes Rewards
Every Trainer will start with the same set of challenges for the first step in the research. Afterward, Trainers will have to pick one of three paths that have an additional step. Below you can find all of the possible paths and the challenges that follows each one from January 19 to January 23.
Lucky Wishes 1/2 – Pokemon GO
- Catch 5 Pokemon – 15 Poke Balls
- Spin 3 PokeStops or Gyms – 10 Great Balls
- Power up Pokemon 5 times – 2 Silver Pinap Berries
- Rewards: 500 Stardust, 500 XP, 1 Lucky Egg
Lucky Wishes – Hatching Eggs 2/2
- Catch 10 Pokemon – Bunnelby Encounter
- Catch 25 Pokemon – Magikarp Encounter
- Catch 8 different species of Pokemon – Combusken Encounter
- Hatch 3 Eggs – Galarian Darumaka Encounter
- Send 25 Gifts to Friends – Azumarill
- Rewards: Darumaka Encounter, 1 Incubator

- Catch 10 Pokemon – Bunnelby Encounter

- Catch 10 Pokemon – Bunnelby Encounter

- Hatch 3 Eggs – Galarian Darumaka Encounter
- Send 25 Gifts to Friends – Azumarill
- Rewards: Darumaka Encounter, 1 Star Piece
Regardless of the path you choose, all of the challenges will remain the same most of the way. However, it’s the rewards that will change, and which ones you want will depend on how you play Pokemon GO. Just focus on your play style and the rewards will be worth it for the Time Research.
