First off, you’ll need to obtain some Herba Mystica in Pokemon Scarlet and VIolet. This can be done by participating in five and six-star Tera Raid battles. Each battle has a chance of dropping an Herba Mystica. There are different types, ranging from Sweet, Sour, Spicy, and Salty.

All of these Herba Mysticas can be used to create different sandwiches during a picnic to increase the odds of finding a shiny Pokemon. However, the recipes for doing so are exact. You can stack certain Herba Mysticas in a recipe to increase the specific type of Pokemon you are shiny hunting for.

For instance, if you want to find a Fire-type shiny Pokemon, you can use the following recipe to increase the odds.

• Basil
• Salty Herba Mystica
• Sweet Herba Mystica

This recipe will then give you increased shiny odds for Fire-type Pokemon.
