After upgrading a few times, you’ll find that you need a resource known as Rich Red Brocade. While the first two versions of this material aren’t too challenging, Rich Red Brocade has several aspects that make it much harder to find. If you’re interested in learning more, continue reading to discover where to get Rich Red Brocade in Genshin Impact.

Where to Get Rich Red Brocade in Genshin Impact

There are three main ways to get Rich Red Brocade in Genshin Impact:

  1. Defeating Level 60+ Eremite enemies
  2. Purchasing from Paimon’s Bargains for two Masterless Starglitter
  3. Crafted using three Trimmed Red Silk

Paimon’s Bargains

If you don’t mind spending some Masterless Starglitter, Paimon’s Bargains is a good way to get some extra Rich Red Brocade. Unlike Faded Red Satin and Trimmed Red Silk, you’ll find the red brocade under Starglitter Exchange. You’ll get three Rich Red Brocade for every two Starglitter you spend, so it’s a decent method if you only need a few more for an ascension.

Crafting Using Trimmed Red Silk

If you have some Trimmed Red Silk left over from upgrading and need some Rich Red Brocade, you can craft it at a local Crafting Bench. For each red brocade you craft, you need three red silk. However, this does drain your Trimmed Red Silk supply, so be careful how much you spend!

Defeating Level 60 Eremites

The last method of obtaining Rich Red Brocade is by fighting Level 60+ Eremite enemies in Sumeru. Since they only drop at Level 60 or greater, you’ll want to have at least an Adventure Rank of 45 to increase your chances of finding high-level Eremites. From here, there are multiple areas you can explore:

  • Eastern and Southwestern Vanarana
  • Vissudha Field and West of Sumeru City
  • Yasna Monument
  • Southwest and Northeast of Devantaka Mountain
  • The southern region of Ashavan Realm

Since Rich Red Brocade drops from numerous types of Eremites, knowing which to look out for will help you during your farming sessions! Below are some examples of Eremite enemies you may find:

  • Eremite Axe Vanguard
  • Eremite Crossbow
  • Eremite Daythunder
  • Eremite Desert Clearwater
  • Eremite Linebreaker
  • Eremite Ravenbeak Halberdier
  • Eremite Sunfrost
  • Eremite Sword-Dancer

There’s a high chance you’ll also obtain Faded Red Satin or Trimmed Red Silk while fighting these enemies. With this in mind, it may take a while before you start finding Rich Red Brocade. It is also the rarest of the three, so it may take some time to farm. Be sure to visit multiple locations to find one with plenty of Level 60+ Eremites.
