Making Pokemon Sleep in Pokemon Legends Arceus

Making wild ‘mon fall asleep is easy, but there’s no set way to make a specific one head to the land of nod – it is random. So if you’re looking for a particular one, it may take some resetting/cycling the clock until it finally does.

The best way to find a sleeping Pokemon is to change the time of day from midday to evening. You can do this at a Camp by either speaking to the Galaxy Expedition Member or interacting with the tent. The drastic time jump can force certain ‘mon to be asleep in their spawn areas. You’ll know when it is because it will be laying down – often curled up – and snoring, which you’ll be able to hear.

If the species you want isn’t sleeping, simply return to a Camp and change the time to midday and then back to the evening. You may need to rinse and repeat this multiple times until you see success.

Catching a Sleeping Pokemon in Pokemon Legends Arceus

Once you’ve found one, you can’t just rush in all guns blazing because it will wake up. Instead, walk up to it very slowly from behind until you’re close, and then throw your Poke Ball to perform a back strike.

For some harder-to-catch Pokemon, using a Stealth Spray is a good idea because it can wake up otherwise, even if you’re as quiet as a mouse. A Gigaton Ball is also better for stronger ‘mon to increase catch chance because it could still break out and attack you if you’re not careful.
