Vampire Survivors’ latest update as of May 9, 2022 adds an interesting new Relic called the Magic Banger. This doesn’t do anything for you in combat, but it does serve a distinct purpose. This item is basically a music box, allowing you to choose which track on the game’s soundtrack you want regardless of the stage you’re playing. While many items added after updates can be tricky, this one is nice and easy. So here’s where to find the Magic Banger in Vampire Survivors.
First, you need to play on the Inlaid Library level. You should be familiar with it by now if you’ve been playing Vampire Survivors for a while because it’s where you needed to go to kill a certain unstoppable foe. Either way, you want to head to the left. And keep going to the left. Find a couple of items? Pass a few pianos? Keep going left, baby. Eventually, you’ll get to the Magic Banger, which is sitting on the ground in plain sight.

The only catch is a set of three strong enemies are guarding it, which start filling the screen with bullets as soon as they notice you. You should have leveled up a few times on your way here, even if you weren’t stopping to grab every gem. So you’ll be fine; just pay attention. Once you snag the Magic Banger that’s it! You get an achievement and a new option to change the music on the level select screen.
