Today, Vampire Survivors got a small update, making some small tweaks to how the game works. But perhaps more importantly, some new items and achievements were added! Between the three new achievements and a new weapon upgrade, there are three new items in total. All you have to do is, well, take on a challenge or two.
Vampire Survivors Achievements Guide February 2022 Update
Evolve the Lightning Ring (Reward: 500 gold coins)
This one’s the easy one. Just like all the other weapon evolutions, you need the weapon in question and the item that goes with it. To upgrade the Lightning Ring, you need to make sure you pick up the Duplicator. You’ll get the Thunder Loop, which turns the Lightning Ring’s random damage areas into a constant series of two lightning strikes, all of which cover a ton of screen real estate. It kinda rules, especially because it looks dope as hell.
Survive 30 Minutes in Green Acres (Reward: Skip)
The next two achievements are legitimate challenges. Green Acres is the third level to unlock, after completing Mad Forest and Inlaid Library. It’s a gauntlet stage of sorts, basically taking the Mad Forest and dumping every possible enemy into the pool. Enemies also have a 50% health bump. It probably isn’t the best idea to tick that Hyper box for this run.

If you’ve made it this far, you’re equipped to survive. But keep in mind those last 30 seconds are going to be nail biters. We recommend as much area of effect and knockback as possible, which makes Unholy Vespers, Soul Eater and Holy Wand your top choices. The rest is up to you, but as we said in our beginner’s guide, the more DPS the better.
Once you get through this endeavor you’ll unlock Skip, a PowerUp that lets you skip your choices when you level up once in a run. You’ll still level up, but it gives you some XP for a head start to the next level.
Reach Level 100 with Mortaccio (Reward: Reroll)
For me, this was a bit tougher than surviving through Green Acres. Getting to level 100 with any character takes almost a whole run, and Mortaccio isn’t exactly the fastest character to build. So you’ll need as much help as you can get from XP boosting tools.
Even if it means refunding all your PowerUps and doing it over again after, definitely max out the Growth crown. This will give you a permanent 15% experience bonus. Picking up Crowns as one of your passive items will bump that up even further. Movement speed and pickup range are helpful too, but as always, more DPS more better.

We also recommend choosing the Inlaid Library (Hyper) as your starting point. Mortaccio is very weak and slow at first, but the green XP gem hanging out to the left of the starting point will instantly bump you up to level 2. If you can get garlic or a magic wand, you’ll be much better prepared to gain quick levels. After that it’s just a matter of being aggressive and getting to the end. You’ll probably even break 100 when all is said and done.
Reroll is a PowerUp as well, similar in function to Skip. But while Skip still eats your level up, Reroll gives you a new set of choices instead. That said, Reroll is also a one and done PowerUp, so both of these items need to be used carefully.
There you have it. Vampire Survivors is still very much in Early Access, so we likely have a ways to go before all the weapons, characters, levels and challenges are revealed. Until then, the game currently sits at 46 achievements. And there’s another interesting bonus on top of that, but we’ll save that for another guide…
