That's certainly one knob of a glitch for Overwatch players.

Online games and glitches go hand in hand and while some of those bugs can be game-breaking, others are just hilarious. One such glitch is one in which turns Overwatch players into doors, and if that isn’t an accurate setup for 2020 we don’t know what is.

The Overwatch door glitch went viral after streamer ‘Read’ shared a video of it in action over on Twitter. D.Va has been many things over the course of the show, but turning into a door is something new entirely. In the small clip below, Overwatch fans can see D.Va turn into a door whilst still moving around the map only to turn right back into her normal Mecha suit as if it were all but a weird dream.

When you think of D.Va as a door, you might think it was just silly glitch that looked similar to another object, not a giant door rolling up to the payload like it’s ready to close the door on the defense. Not really sure how a glitch like this works with full-on graphic recreation, but it’s hilarious nonetheless so god bless.

Much of the Blizzard team is hard at work on Overwatch 2, so seeing some slips like this is not unexpected if not unwelcome. That being said, the Overwatch community hasn’t been really feeling the Blizzard love lately following massive backlash regarding recent Moira changes and bugs aplenty.

We don’t have a release date yet for Overwatch 2 but Blizzard does have a small showcase planned outside of BlizzCon, which has been cancelled due to COVID-19. While it will be interesting to see how they evolve this in-game world, we think they missed a critical step in retaining their player base, which you can learn more about below:
